If you are crazy about thai and Chinese cuisine, I’m almost hundred percent sure that you are bound to fall in love with Royal Orchid. The food just screams authentic flavours. The service was quick and food was served to our table hot.

The restaurant is located near the cinema parking – Chinese pavilion ( food court).

What we had;

Sriracha glazed prawns with nori tempura [52AED] – Delicious crunchy fried prawns with sweet and spicy sauce! Did not think I’d like this as much but it turned out to be one of the best things I had that day.

Tom Yam Prawns [41AED]: My all time favourite soup. Extremely tangy and spicy – just the way we like it. It is a family favourite. It also comes with plenty veggies.

Chicken and Basil Dimsums [34AED]: Not the best dimsums I have had. I did not like the strong basil flavour.

Chicken Wings in Black Pepper sauce [38AED]: This has a bit of sweetness to it. So people (like my friends) who do not like sweet flavour to their dishes – will not (did not) like this. I on the other hand, like sweet and spicy flavour and so this one was a hit for me.

Kung Pao Chicken [57AED]: Not the best kung pao chicken I have had. The flavours were very subtle and I did not enjoy it much.

Nasi Goreng Chicken [36AED]: This is my first time trying nasi goreng and I was not a big fan. It was nice, but not something I would try again. I loved the chicken skewers on the side with some peanut sauce. Was delicious!

Hakka Noodles Veg [42AED]: I have always loved hakka noodles at Royal Orchid. Especially with the veggies. They are overloaded of veggies and cooked inperfect seasoning.

Thai Mango on Sticky Rice [32AED]: Love this dessert. Mango being one of my favourite fruits when paired with some delicious rice and sweet sauce – it is simply delicious!

Crispy chocolate wontons with raspberry coulis [28AED]: Okay, my favourite dessert here. The crispy wontons were chocolate filled with the center of raspberry sauce. I loved the warm chocolate oozing out in every wonton. Recommended.

Green Curry Vegetable [51AED]: Oh, if there is one that that I ask you to try at Royal Orchid is their Green/ Red curry. We had the one with vegetables and it was amazing! Super creamy and bursts with flavours. Must try!!

Oriental Breeze [31AED]: Absolutely refreshing drink which is soda/ water based with lemon grass, mint leaves and cubes of lemon in it.

Final Verdict: Royal Orchid almost never lets us down. One of our most favourite places.
