Love going around Dubai to satiate my never ending hunger for some pizza and pasta! Stumbled upon Pizza Pazza – very easy to locate.
We were there in the middle of the week and it was packed! I was quite surprised. The manager also mentioned that they have well over 30 home delivery calls every day. That is quite amazing. Their service was great and food was served quick.
They have an open kitchen and you could peep in to see your pizza cook while you are waiting for your food. The place however is a little compact so when all the tables and chairs are occupied, it gets a little congested. Also, their tables are quite close to each other so sometimes it may feel like your are all up in your neighbour’s table and can hear their conversation.
What we had;
Caesar’s Salad [40AED]: That is quite a price to pay for a caesar salad but I’m not that mad cus I LOVED the salad. Generous amount of dressing and chicken pieces – you are bound to love this. My friend who does not like salad at all – we saw her munching away on the salad to her happy place. She also mentioned that she absolutely loved the pieces of chicken as they were flavourful (which other places lack).
Bruschetta [20AED]: Probably the only thing I did not like that day. It was just so bland and tasteless. We did not, could not finish the bread. I have had better bruschetta before.
Penne Alfredo [50AED]: This was suggested by the manager so we had to try it. Loved it. Super creamy and a generous serving. The pasta lacked some salt but amazing none the less.
Vegetarian and Chicken Italian Pizza [R – 50AED]: We went for half and half. I was vegetarian for that day and man I loved the pizza. Extremely cheesy and I did not mind the overload of vegetables because it tasted so fresh. I am nit a big fan of thin crusted pizza but honestly, I did not mind this one bit. The chicken italian pizza is their best seller and the pizza was over loaded with pieces of chicken. If you like your pizza like that, you need to try it out. Their bread crust was not hard, dry or chewy – it was perfectly made.
Blended Hazelnut Caramel [22AED]: This was a super refreshing and a heavy drink. Loved it! Cold coffee blended with a hint of hazelnut? Yes please!
Lovin Spoon Cake [23AED]: A decent decent, maybe you should try their tiramisu instead which is home made unlike this particular dessert. Nothing wrong with it, it was just too rich, dense and chocolatey for my liking. I could not eat more than a spoonful.
Final Verdict: If you are in the vicinity, you should definitely visit. Their pizzas and pastas are phenomenal! Home deliver if you must, but do try them out.
