Located near the Baniyas square, this place is located next to Baniyas Metro Station.

Ambiance: This cafe may not be big but I love their yellow and black cute decor. I did not expect them to have sofa seatings but they did. They have a few chairs on the inside and few on the outside. The place is well lit and very clean and tidy as well.

Service: Our server was Shyam and he was such a nice person. He suggested us some good burgers and sandwiches and was extremely courteous and helpful.

Price: 40 – 60 AED approx for two

What we had;

We were invited to try out their burgers and shake. Out of the one’s I tried, let me tell you about some of my favourites from Beat Box!

Fisherman’s Pie [18AED]: This burger was so good! Firstly what I was amazed at was the size of the burgers, they were quite big for the amount and they come with some fries along side. The prawns were so crispy, juicy and tasted so fresh. They had their prawns drenched in some home made sauce. Honestly, it was the best burger I had that day – hands down.

Strawberry Cream [13AED]: They greeted us with these and we were in love. Did not quite understand the consistency 😛 but it was delicious none the less. If you know me well, you would know that I love strawberry anything!

Riding Solo Burger [18AED]: This came with a mexican twist. It had ground beef and topped up with some spicy salsa and melted cheese. My boyfriend is a hardcore beef lover and it was completely approved by him!

High by the Beach [23AED]: This was a fish club sandwich. I hardly ever like my sandwiches with fish but omgosh this was so good! The fish was grilled and so perfectly seasoned. The sandwich also had some zucchini and cheddar cheese in it. I could not taste the zucchini and therefore it was quite delicious.

Crispy Chicken Wrap with Jalapeños [11AED]: I did not particularly like this wrap solely because of the wrap. It was too hard to bite on. The chicken on the inside however was so good and crispy.

Chio Pistachio [18AED]: I do not know what is this craze behind Pistas going on in Dubai at the moment, but I do not approve. I don’t like pistas and therefore it is quite obvious I did not like this either. The falooda did not taste authentic or as I would have liked it to be.

The Dark Knight [35AED]: I did not have high hopes as I have had 70 – 80 AED priced freak-shakes and they have not been the best. But woah! To my astonishment, this shake was TOO good! I love the milkshake in itself and also the toppings. It had a bunch of whipped cream, MnMs and choco chips to top it off. The milkshake was thick and tasted of quality chocolate and not the cheap stuff, some restaurants try to get away with.

Final Thoughts: One thing we about the food at Beat Box was that their buns were so soft and tasted so fresh. It does take them some time to come out with the food but it is only because they make it on the spot. I love this place and would totally come here back again.
