I was invited to try out a relatively new restaurant opened up in Business bay near the canal. Not only does the restaurant have a stunning view whilst you are eating, they have an extensive menu and you are definitely spoilt for choice.

Ambiance: I got to admit one thing; their interiors are beautiful! They have an outdoor seating, indoors and also some more when you climb up a few steps. The place is absolutely spacious and very well lit. The interiors are done so beautifully.

Service: The service is amazing and the servers are extremely polite. The food was brought to us on time and was served hot.

Price: 150 – 200AED approx for two

What we had;

Hummus [22AED]: Delicious and creamy. This was served with some hot bread!

Nurai House Combo [35AED]: This was a platter with a little bit of all things yum. This included some spring rolls, garlic bread, chicken tenders, breaded shrimps, twisted fries and more with some tartar sauce on the side. The chicken tenders were absolutely hard to a point that they were not chewable. The fries and the garlic bread was so good! Also the shrimps were not too oily and tasted so delicious. Value for money for a sharing platter.

Buffalo Chicken Wings/ BBQ Chicken Wings [30AED]: They come in 8 pcs and omgosh let me tell you how darn good these were! We have been to numerous wings places and these exceeded the taste comparison. They were so tender, soft and juicy with enough and more sauce lattered on them. Must try!

Caesar Salad [36AED]: I love Caesar salad, but this was not one of the best. I feel the salad was missing some delicious dressing. Some lettuce and croutons were untouched by the sauce. The grilled chicken however, was way too delicious!

Za’atar [15AED]: Dried thyme mixed with sesame, sumac and olive oil. The bread was semi soft and semi crunchy which I loved. I love anything with a good amount of Za’atar layered on top of it 😛 Another recommendation off of the menu.

Chicken Fajita [48AED]: Basically this was the fajita filled in 2 tortilla wraps and honestly I am NOT complaining. This tasted so good! It also had some sour cream, guac and cheddar cheese in it. So filling especially when served on the side with some crunchy and hot fries. If you’re a fan of fajitas like me, you’re bound to love this. Another recommendation from the manager himself was the ‘Nurai Atlantis Club’

Chicken Mozzarella Festival [50AED]: So imagine this, your usual boring burger with some sad ice berg and pickles laying on the side. How do you make it exciting and equally delicious? Nurai just adds on a breaded mozzarella patty in between of the the chicken burger which has a layer of delicious garlic mayo. I was doubtful about this dish as it was doing the utter most but upon trying, I feel that it was one of the best things I had at Nurai. Very heavy though, can be shared between two.

Mexico [54AED] / Pepperoni Pizza [45AED]: We chose the half n half pizza. The mexico pizza was so different from what I have normally had. The chicken pizza had BBQ sauce, fresca, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese and cajun sauce as delicious toppings. This pizza was so unbelievably delicious! The mix of BBQ sauce and Cajun sauce on the pizza was just way too good to be missed. Can be shared between three people.

Pesto Pasta [48AED]: Oh holy moly, how delicious! The beautiful pasta was served with some grated cheese on the side and topped with some pine nuts. The pesto flavour was so beautiful when had with tossed pan tossed pine nuts. I was really impressed by the pasta – highly recommend this. Quite good a portion, gets a bit heavy however.

Strawberry Milkshake [35AED]: I am more into thick and heavy shakes and this was the complete opposite and still it was SO good! The milkshake was so light and you could taste fresh strawberries which were added.

Nurai special Shake [35AED]: Loved this milkshake. It was super thick with blended Oreos and chocolate. So rich and heavy yet completely worth it. I really enjoyed my drink!

Lebanese Coffee: Presented in cute little cups, the coffee was very strong and flavourful. We chose it to be sugar free and it was a great end to a hearty and delicious meal.

Final Thought: I am in absolute love with this cafe. So beautifully located and decorated. The food is extremely delicious and made with high quality ingredients. They also have sandwiches, grills, breakfast and much more. I also like that they have quite a few coffee options as I am a coffee lover! You can also play some board games that they provide or bring your own as well.
