Fellow Foodie: Aishwarya Rachel
La Pulpe is out with their new menu with includes some cheesy sandwiches. Do they fair well? Or should they just stick to juices/ shakes? Read more to know 😉
Ambiance: Their new location is in Warqaa and they are also located in Ajman. The place is super compact and allow just a few people to be seated. I noticed that most of their customers preferred to take away. The place is very well lit and super hygienic as well.
Service: They make your order right in front of you and serve you with a bright smile. They were quick in their service and were very well informed about their menu.
Price: Super affordable for a quick sip and snack.
What we had;
We were invited for a little gathering for breast cancer awareness month at La Pulpe. I was under the impression that these people only served shakes and juices. I was completely wrong. They also serve waffles, bubble waffles, ice creams, freak shakes and now even some sandwiches.
In juices we tried;
Avocado Pulpe [14/17AED]
Immunizer [17/20] – Green apple, Pineapple, Pear
Lotus Kicker [18/22AED]
Berry Creek [19/23AED]- Mango, Strawberry, Avocado
Estimulent [19/23AED] – Mango, Strawberry
Valencia [19/23AED] – Mango, Strawberry, Raspberry
Zoomer [19/23AED] – Raspberry, Mango, Peach
Blackberry on the rocks [17/20AED]
Passion fruit on the rocks [17/20AED]
Watermelon pulpe [12/15AED]
Out of all these; My favourites were Valencia, Nutella, Estimulant and Lotus Kicker.
Taking a sip from all one thing I loved was that everything tasted so fresh and so good. The drinks with fruits in them were surprising so much more better than simple lotus or nutella. Valencia was my all time favourite. Sour with sweetness. It had the fruits mango strawberry and raspberry in it – how delicious. Again, nutella was so heavenly and thick I WAS IN LOVE!
Next in bubble waffles we tried Lotus [22AED] and Banana [18AED]. My personal favourite was lotus – I am a sucker for anything lotus. The bubble waffle was yummy along with some ice cream. You need to eat it fast though, because its possible that the waffle will soak up the melted ice cream.
Raspberry freak shake [35AED] was a freak indeed. It had so much going on and I am not complaining. The shake was comparatively thick in consistency and the sweetness was balanced. Definitely want to head there to try out some more of their freak shakes.
They are out with their 5 new sandwiches;
Chicken Fajita Sandwich [12AED]
Chicken Tikka Sandwich [12AED]
Veg Delight Sandwich [10AED]
Beef sausage Sandwich [12AED]
Beef Steak Sandwich [12AED]
Boy oh boy I absolutely loved their Fajita and Tikka sandwiches. They were so delectable! Perfectly browned bread with so much ooey gooey cheese on the inside. The chicken tikka was little too delicious so I’d give it a point more. I hope they come out with more delicious things on their menu cus they’re doing it right.People who tried the beef sandwiches also quite enjoyed theirs.
Final Verdict: Don’t go in their name, they serve a lot more delicious drinks and snacks. Im going to go in to try more off their menu. Maybe if they somehow managed to get in more seating space, I’d appreciate it more.
