On my last trip to Bangalore, we happened to be in the same vicinity (Garuda Mall) as of ABC and we thought of stopping by. Did not really go there with the sole intention of drinking, because we were really famished and needed some food to fill our stomachs.

Ambiance: I would honestly give a 10 on 10 in the whole interior aspect and the ‘ambiance’ aspect of ABC! Such a huge place and the space is well used too. There are huge comfy couches, there are chairs up front the bar, there are usual chair and table dinning seatings – you name it. We opted for the couches and ended not wanting to get up even after paying our bill. I love the upbeat vibe ABC has to offer.

Staff: The service was prompt and were at our disposal. They were kind enough to cancel one of our orders as it was so not up-to the mark.

Price: I felt ABC is in a very affordable price range. At-least in the the food category.

What we ate;

Drinks: We had the taster from their freshly brewed beers. They were priced @60rs per taste. We had Belgian Styled Beers and Ipa/Pale Ales and also some Bacardi with Orange Juice.

Beer Battered Onion Rings: These are one of my favourite things to munch on while sipping some cold beer. But to my dismay, they were soggy and did not have the crunch factor in them. They tasted well, but the texture was very odd. The quantity was very average in relation to the quality and price. But the manager was called to our table and he was kind enough to switch our order from the onion rings to some spicy chilli chicken. [1.5/5]

Old School Chilli Chicken: This was oriental style cubed chicken which was tossed in onions and capsicum along with some spicy chilli sauce. Wow! I beer + some spicy chicken = ultimate kickback time. This dish was on point and bomb! Had I not ordered for the main course already, I’d have surely had one more portion of this! Must try. A very generic dish, but really worth it. [4.7/5]

Beer Battered Fish and Chips: This really did not live up to our expectations. The fish was soggy and lacked flavours. The fries and the tarter sauce that came with it however were really yummy! [2.7/5]

Fajitas: We ordered for chicken sizzler. The basic flavour of the sizzler came off as a Chinese dish. Ive had some really good authentic fajitas and this surely was far from being even an average tasting sizzle. Keeping that aside, when assembled together, the fajitas tasted quite decent. The portion size was big and the it was priced at a very decent price (between 250 – 300rs) [2.9/5]

Final Thoughts: I would surely come back here, surely not for the food but for the drinks and the ambience. Grab a few friends and come here for a chilled afternoon. Totally recommended. 🙂
