All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt. ― Charles M. Schulz
Cinnabon in Deira City Centre is my comfort place to come to. The staff is so kind and so courteous. Its always a pleasure to indulge in Cinnabon. Don’t meet for coffee, meet for Cinnabon! Really.
The DCC outlet is very small NOT cozy, don’t mistake small for cozy. It is congested and very few seating arrangements. The fragrance though, is so bold, over powers any sort of smell coming from other restaurants in the vicinity. Some people I have noticed, cringe at the smell of Cinnabon. On the contrary for me, the amazing smell is the selling point.
I’m not a fan of dark chocolate, so obviously their CHOCOBON [16dhs] won’t be my favourite. But what actually my all time favourite is, CARAMEL PECANBONS [17dhs] . OMG. Describing this delicious, melt in my mouth dessert is nothing but an uphill task. Starting with the dough – the roll. The roll is so soft and very easy to chew on. It is far from being dry and chewy. There is a constant and beautiful cinnamon spice flavour that goes on throughout the bun. It in no way over powers the dessert – which is a fear amongst quite a few people.
I love toasted pecans. I love them in my ice cream, I love them on my Cinnabons. The sauce (and caramel) that is applied while rolling the buns and that is drizzled on top is just so delectable. Thinking about them is making me crave some right now.
I love my Cinnabon right out of the oven. Hot and the sauce sizzling though 8/10 times I end up burning my tongue. But then as they say, it’s not true love if it doesn’t hurt!
Chocobons, I don’t dislike them, I just don’t like them as much as I like Caramel Pecanbon. The chocolate drizzle is a little too bitter for my liking, but otherwise, delicious none the less. From the dough to the presentation, I find nothing faulty in them.
There are a lot more new entries that has made their way into the menu card of Cinnabon, like there mouth watering ice cream, shakes and so much more.
The prices are very easy on the pocket and not exorbitant what so ever. The large Cinnabon can be easily shared with two people if not three. 15 – 17 dhs on this, is honestly one of my best spends.
You’re definitely missing out on something amazing and finger licking good if you happen to pass their Cinnabon Buns. You never say no to these. Had some last week, planning on going this week again.
